What a clever guy! God says that they bite with their teeth. Where do I begin?! If you want to read a good bit of them check out the list of Injustices. What the hell did he expect? God's trying to sleep. Now you've done it. He's awake. And, it loathed these shepherds?

She conceived and bore Pharez, an ancestor of Jesus. Except for David at one end and Jesus at the other, there are only three names in the two lists that are the same. If Jesus is the sinless Son of God and all that, then shouldn't Jesus be baptizing John instead of the reverse? Isn't baptism supposed to forgive sins and be a sign of repentance? If so, then why would Jesus need to be baptized? And what the heck is "it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness" supposed to mean?

But, if so, he does one hell of a lousy job at it. Most birds die before leaving the nest, and the few who manage to fly soon die painful deaths of starvation, predation, or disease. If God is caring for them, pray that he stays away from you. According to 1 Jn.

I don't blame them. He sees to it that they each die painful deaths of starvation, predation, or disease. But don't worry. God will do the same for you. He thinks that humans are worth much more than sparrows. Therefore Jesus must have denied Peter before God. He sends his disciples to ask, "Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another? If by this he meant that he would be in the tomb for three days and three nights, then either he was mistaken or the gospels are in error.

Because according to the gospels this is one of the few things they all seem to agree on , Jesus was in the tomb for only one day and two nights. Not finding any, he comes back with seven other spirits more wicked than himself and repossesses the person. Apparently, it was a common opinion at the time See Mt. If so many of Jesus' contemporaries could be so easily fooled regarding John the Baptist, what does this do to the credibility of Jesus' resurrection?

But they should know by now, since Jesus just did the same trick in These stories are probably the result of two oral versions of the same fictitious story. The fact that people could be so easily fooled regarding the Baptist's "resurrection" casts doubt on the resurrection of Jesus.

He that is able to receive it, let him receive it. It might make someone castrate himself so that he could be one of the , male virgins, who alone will make it to heaven Rev. The commandments given by Jesus are secular, not religious, in nature. For as Jesus says, "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

And whatever you ask for your will receive. O Lord, won't ya buy me a Mercedes-Benz? Can't God find and kill them there, too? Well if they weren't sure, how could we ever be? If 1 Jn. Some thought he was Elijah or one of the prophets. And some like Herod in this verse thought he was the risen John the Baptist, even though John had just recently died and the people must have known what he looked like.

After all, Jesus had just done it before This "doublet" was probably the result of two oral traditions of the same event. Why don't televangelists spit on people when healing them? And many thought he was a risen John the Baptist. With credulity like that just about anyone could later be passed off as the risen Christ.

For "it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. The billions of stars will never fall to earth and the moon does not produce its own light.

And how could God increase "in favour with God. Don't turn down any borrowers Do Christian bankers follow this one? He sends his disciples to Jesus asking: "Art thou he that should come? Some thought he was Elijah or one of the prophets; others that he was the risen John the Baptist.

With such a credulous populace, is it surprising that some people would later claim, and probably even believe, that they had seen the risen Christ? To this Jesus replies, "I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions If you manage to evict one, he'll soon return with seven others "more wicked than himself" and you'll be worse off than you were before.

So just learn to live with whatever unclean spirits that are currently possessing you. I guess you should too. He says, "even thus shall it be in the day the son of man is revealed Remember Lot's wife. Maybe that was because the person they saw wasn't Jesus. So he sends his own disciples to ask, "Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?

It's a shame he didn't give us chapter and verse. Oh well, everyone makes mistakes. But the people he accuses say to him, "Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee? Now how's that for a big lie? Maybe they were. All kinds of beasts, creeping things, and fowls drop down from the sky in a big sheet, and a voice God's, Satan's? Paul, a guy who converted to Christianity because he heard voices, calls the Greeks too darned superstitious.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! And the evil spirits when out of them. They also jump on people and strip them of their clothes. The "barbarians" who were shipwrecked with him thought he must be a murderer since he was bitten; but then they changed their minds and thought him to be a god since he didn't die.

Paul then quickly adds, "I speak as a man. A donkey or a god, perhaps? But Abraham, when he was even older, managed to father six more children with a new wife without any divine assistance Gen. First he says that he baptized no one. Well, except for Crispus and Gaius.

And maybe Stephanus and his household. He can't remember if he did it to anyone else. But according to the gospels, there were no princes involved with Jesus' execution. So this stuff is in scripture but is not inspired by God? If you do, God will make you sit down to eat and then rise up to play. If you have gentile friends, then you are friends with devils. Actually, a seed must be alive to germinate. This made the real sinners sinless.

It was sort of an out of body experience. Anyway, one of these guys was way up in the third heaven and the other guy was in paradise. Cool, eh? Rather, he says that we should drink wine for our "stomach's" sakes. Like the entire Bible, maybe? And still today there are those who have never heard his name.

From the dimensions of the ark in Ex. But, hey, maybe Aaron was a little short guy, or they broke his rod into pieces, or they just crammed it all in somehow. Who knows? And if God doesn't hurt you, they you are a bastard, not a son. He knows that Jesus, who was to come soon, didn't come at all. And that those who try to understand them, as with the other scriptures, do so "unto their own destruction. If so, then there are about four billion antichrists now living. If so, then the "unclean spirits" in Mark's gospel , , must have been of God.

So Pat Robertson must be wrong when he says the antichrist is a Jewish man that is alive today. Like the limbless knight in Monty Python's "Holy Grail. Counting the Holy Spirit? He explains that the seven eyes "are the seven spirits of God. But the previous verse makes it clear that it was their God-given job to "hurt the earth and the sea" just as soon as they finished their forehead marking job. Gee, that sounds like fun. But how would washing robes in blood make them white?

They sting people and hurt them for five months. He does, and it tastes good, but it makes his belly bitter. They can shut up heaven so that it cannot rain There are these little windows that open up whenever it rains. And those that are not killed by the candlesticks, trees, or beast will "rejoice over them [the dead bodies] and make merry, and shall send gifts to one another.

Everyone will be marked on their right hand or their forehead with this number. And I thought it was going to be my social security number! Those who were not "defiled with women. So is Jesus Lucifer? Watch the entire video and there is no doubt dinosaurs walked with men. You may want to skip to about 30 minutes into it. That's when he gets into the hard evidence. Don't watch 10 minutes of it and say "that doesn't prove anything" Skip to about 30 minutes into it and then listen.

Seems like either a hijacking, or that the Romans were in on it. I'll throw something else out there. What if Jesus never came back to Earth but instead kept floating, to the point she left earth's atmosphere? Paddington thoughts? The lack of the original writings, evidence of changes to copies over centuries, evidence of forgery, and if all that weren't enough, pretty much everything said about Jesus is found in writings about other mystical characters that existed before 1 AD.

But I doubt you are. I wasn't for decades. In the end I concluded Jesus was likely a real man who a lot of Jews believed was the next anointed King of Israel the messiah. He was probably crucified for it, as there is evidence that he would have been one of many at the time claiming to be such due to an interpretation of the book of Daniel leading many to believe it was the time for the messiah to arrive.

Paul then applied a lot of existing attributes of pagan religions, which of course did not appeal to Jews, but appealed greatly to gentiles non-Jews. The gospels were then written by followers of Paul's new religion. Which was right around the time that the original church Jesus left behind was scattered due to Jerusalem falling and Judea being overtaken. Which for centuries wasn't much to speak of What Constantine did was actually pretty insignificant when one sees Christianity wasn't much different than the pagan religions that already existed in the Roman empire.

After all, it's just another pagan religion that has a Jew that the Jews supposedly rejected as the main character. If you're going to engage in a pagan religion, why not do one that also pisses off the Jews that have been scattered into your land. I really like your post. Do you any recommended reading that really gets into this.

This type of stuff really interests me. I grew up Catholic but as I grew older I started to realize that many of the things I was being taught did not make a lot of sense. I don't believe any God would say the "yes the Christians have it right, and the rest of the world better get a ready for an eternal life in hell. Having said that I feel just as strongly that this whole universe was not created by chance, there is something bigger out there.

This feels like such a good argument, until you actually think about it. Where did that "something bigger" come from? How is it that you're ok with that, but not ok with the much more natural, plausible explanation that no such bigger thing exists?

This universe had to be created from something, what came before that something. Dark matter just didn't get created from nothing. This one is hard to read but contains a lot of evidence of what really happened. I believe an explanation exists beyond our knowledge.

By rejecting christianity, I'm not rejecting the possibility of a god, or gods. My beliefs are more in line with the founding fathers of this country, who despite popular belief, were not christians, at least in the sense of we experience christianity in this country today.

They were diest, who very likely had a great appreciation of some sort for the teachings of Jesus. But the Jesus they appreciated is not who christians today believe Jesus is. Thomas Jefferson said it best when he said: "Among the sayings and discourses imputed to him by his biographers, I find many passages of fine imagination, correct morality, and of the most lovely benevolence: and others again of so much ignorance, so much absurdity, so much untruth, charlatanism, and imposture, as to pronounce it impossible that such contradictions should have proceeded from the same being.

I separate therefore the gold from the dross; restore to him the former, and leave the latter to the stupidity of some, and roguery of others of his disciples. Of this band of dupes and impostors, Paul was the great Coryphaeus, and first corrupter of the doctrines of Jesus. These palpable interpolations and falsifications of his doctrines led me to try to sift them apart.

The Thomas Jefferson bible is his attempt to remove all the corruption of Jesus from the books. My position is I don't know if there is an exact way we have to live or something specific we have to believe to get into heaven. My position is those who claim they know one are full of it. Socialism has failed in every single nation it's ever been tried including recently. As Socialism is being added to these Economic Giants, their Economies are failing more and more.

America is not a Democracy. It is a Republic. Right, you're basically just restating what I said. You seem incredulous that the stuff in the universe "came from nothing," so instead you choose to believe that That's more believable to you? Several years ago, My cousin was playing with a lighter in his bedroom.

He caught a newspaper or comic book or something on fire and threw it on his bed. There were several people sleeping there. The whole house went up in flames. Everyone got out except for my 3 year old cousin sarah. They had written her off as dead. The whole house was in flames and filled with smoke.

An off duty fireman happened to be driving by and saw the smoke. He stopped to help. He looked into the bedroom window and saw her sitting under the window with her hands on her head. He pulled her out and she was burned and has some scars to this day. He asked her how she knew to come over to that window and sit on the ground.

She said that the man in the fire told her "Don't be afraid, to go over to the window sit down and put your hands over your head and face". Years later, she recounted her story with me. She said that the man had no face, light shining from it, he was 3 feet tall and dressed in white. He was floating in the corner of the room. My Grandparents were deeply committed Christians.

Often times my Grandmother would be up all night, having trouble sleeping, praying for the safety of the family. At the same exact time that the fire was going on, my grandmother was several miles away sleeping in her bed. She heard a voice that told her "There's been a fire, Liz and the kids got out ok".

A few minutes later, my Grandfather got the call on the phone "There's been a fire, liz and the kids got out ok" He tried to tell her what they said, but she already knew. Otherwise, my cousin would have died in the fire.

I don't know if that's actually true, but let's put that aside for a second. The important piece here is the term "springs of the sea". If I use a Hebrew interpretation of the original Aramaic manuscript, the verse says, "Have you come until the locks of the sea and have you walked in the searching out of the deep? The Hebrew version doesn't quite offer that "gotcha" moment like the one used in the video.

So my questions to you are 1. How do you know which translation to use? The best translation in my opinion is the KJV. Also, You can look up the meanings of each Hebrew and Greek word easily to see that they match via a Hebrew to English and Greek to English Dictionary. Many Computer Bible programs have one built in and just by hovering the mouse over the Hebrew word it will give you the definition of the word. Now, Let's go back to that same book Job.

It's the oldest book in the Bible written thousands of years ago. Of course they didn't have space travel wouldn't you agree? So they wouldn't have known that the earth hangs in outer space now would they? And yet that's what it says:. Job He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing. Also, there is a place in the sky if you are at the north pole that is void of any starts, but you have to be at the North Pole to see it.

How did they know about the "Empty Place" when Job was written? Isa It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:. Be careful with anyone who favors the King James. This complex history provokes several questions, including why the Holy Spirit needed so many minds and hands to work on God's Word. Wouldn't it have been much faster and less fraught with the chance for error if only one person infallibly inspired by the Holy Spirit had translated the texts?

It was commonly depicted as a flat circle in older maps as well. Regarding 3, the Greeks accepted a round earth from that point on because travelers going north couldn't see stars that could be seen from Greece. Later Aristotle noted that the shadow of the earth on the moon during a lunar eclipse was circular. I never said outer space was empty and neither did the passage. It said "The empty place". The empty place can only be seen from the North Pole.

It's an area of the sky that if void of stars. I realize that Circles are not spheres, however, it's pointing out the shape of the earth. The earth certainly does hang on nothing. How did the writer of Job know that years ago?

It is difficult to imagine a more demonstrably wrong statement ever being posted on this forum. You don't need to be a scientist to know how wrong this is. Just about every single person reading this can see how wrong it is for themselves. Go outside at night, and look north. Do you see the little dipper? That star at the end of the handle is Polaris.

It's the north star. It's above the north pole. And whether you live in the United States, or Europe, or the Middle East, you can see it from your house. Ascribed by Rabbinic tradition to Moses , it is generally agreed by scholars that the book comes from the period between the 7th and 4th centuries BCE, with the 6th century as the most likely date for a variety of reasons. BCE is just an attempt to remove Christ. It's interesting how desperate these people are to remove Christ from history.

He doesn't have a problem with the Bible though, so you may be out of luck. Good thing your parents brainwashed him early and often. From Patriot Bible University. Didn't they make the sweet 16 last year? Would you like some facts? Or have you already made up your mind without looking into it? Make no mistake, I want it to be true. I really do. It would be awesome if it were true.

But wanting it to be true can make people see what they want to see. To really look into it, I had to put my desire for it to be true aside, and let reason prevail. There is far more factual evidence that Jesus was King Izas of Edessa, than there is that Jesus was a carpenter. And we can see from Edessan coins that the King of Edessa wears a crown of thorns. It was the traditional headdress of the kings of Edessa. Looking at factual evidence, It's easy to see where pretty much everything about christianity was pieced together from There's nothing original about it, at all.

Between and , Ellen White occasionally ate duck, baked fish, fried chicken, turkey, and tinned tongue. Haskell relented and ate corned beef. Olsen admitted that most Adventist ministers in the s neither practiced nor promoted health principles. White in urged GC President A. Daniells to back an Anti-Meat Pledge, but he demurred, stating that this would create a hardship for Adventists in Scandinavia where fruits and vegetables were not readily available and in Brazil and Argentina where beef and mutton were key products.

Instead, he agreed to sponsor cooking schools to promote a vegetarian lifestyle. Consequently, despite the fact that vegetarianism is a unique belief among Adventists not shared by other Protestant denominations, it is the least biblical of all church beliefs and one of the most controversial.

Adventists also established institutions to promote healthful lifestyles. Lay, Trall, and Byington to run it; started the Health Reformer magazine; and wrote a medical book, the Hand Book of Health , to promote healthful living among Adventists. Kellogg took charge of the renamed Battle Creek Medical and Surgical Sanitarium in , he made it the largest medical institution in the world with patients by Despite some resistance, after the s Adventist community and acute care hospitals offering short-term recovery through drugs began replacing sanitariums with their long-term care emphasis.

AHS , with more than , employees operating 80 hospitals, nursing homes, retirement centers, home health agencies, medical offices, and over walk-in clinics, is the seventh largest health system in America. However, some extreme reforms have at times brought controversial results. In the s Dr. Reavis in Battle Creek sold the Phrenological Journal in the s. Another controversial topic among Adventists has been faith healing.

Sales of cereal and bread at the De-Vau-Ge food factory doubled during the Nazi regime. German Adventists would later express regret for praising the Nazi regime in their publications. Sutherland and P. Magan in , chose rustic locations free from the perceived wickedness of city life where simplicity, economy, self-sacrifice, and physical and mental health can be enhanced.

Thus, in the areas of Sabbath-keeping, worship styles, the arts, sports, gambling, reading material, theater, TV, dancing, dress, adornment, music, temperance, diet, and health institutions, Adventists have followed many different lifestyles. Recent surveys appear to indicate that this trend will continue into the twenty-first century. See Alberto Timm and James Nix, eds. This trend does not hold for Hispanic Adventist youth, however, as a study conducted by Johnny Ramirez-Johnson and Edwin Hernandez shows. Over 57 percent of them had daily devotions, 67 percent had a balanced understanding of the Gospel, 95 percent had orthodox doctrinal views, and 85 percent considered the Sabbath very meaningful in their lives.

The typical classroom schedule across Europe in the nineteenth century and even today in some countries included classes meeting on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, which naturally created difficulties for Adventist children.

See Bull and Lockhart, Seeking a Sanctuary , They often emphasize racial, gender, ethnic, sexual orientation diversity; church as a safe place to grow; all being on a journey of exploration; lack of dress requirements; church as a family; community service programs; and grace, love, and hope rather than law, requirements, and restrictions.

White opposed cards and table games; in the s she condemned the bicycle craze, football, baseball, tennis and cricket on Adventist college campuses; and in she disapproved of sports cheering teams and college swimming pools. But I will be holding off the detailed responses until the next session is ready to be played, in the hope of more answers, suggestions etc coming in the interim. This is another watershed moment with a range of possibilities ahead, so Eilif will consider all advice carefully before taking his next steps. We need the same from Jarls taking land from the de jure Russian Empire May he feast in the halls of Odin, I wish he had gone fighting instead of sneakily killed like this.

About Hakon, I can only say Loki's hairy asscrack! By the way, was there anybody else we could've nominated in terms of optimization for a future king? I mean in terms of stats etc Heresies rising up is usually not good, as it gives the province a higher revolt modifier for a few years. But if it is a heathen heresy spreading, it's actually not that bad - it blocks religious revolts from that county. As the Irish kingdom exists, this means that the Irish holdings can only spawn peasant revolts for now, and these aren't much of a threat.

If he had a rival, there's definitely been a plot coming from him. Perhaps it was Virdyan Virdyan, plotting at the same time. In any case, "justice" will incur a tyranny penalty if you don't punish the perpetrator by letting him die of some disease, of course. I hope you can find a way, I unfortunately have no ideas. I'll go into more detail below. But my advice for Virdyan would be for him to meet his end as a title-less nobody in the oubliette. As for general advice, keep in mind that conversions incur the risk of secret societies popping up.

Those "good Germanic vassals" may secretly still be heathens and convert half your realm away from the true faith until they reveal themselves. I guess we don't have this case but if you're going to make multi county counts without jarldoms, give them counties from different jarldoms so it's more difficult for them to consolidate. In elective gavelkind, the voters should be all vassals under this title. Perhaps it also encompasses all other vassals - elective gavelkind is a pain and I don't have much insight to offer there.

Refil of Vladimir needs a I'm by no means sure, but every count and duke in the realm might get to vote for this one. I prefer brutal purging to avoid these pesky secret societies, but that may not be the optimal short-run method. Your assumptions makes a lot of sense to me. Butter with money, positions etc whoever you can to ask for a successful conversion.

Revoke others later when all possible coreligionists are already converted. You can always ask for a conversion beforehand for RP purposes but I'm not sure if there's any mechanical benefit to doing that. From a RP perspective, Vihavald certainly deserves it. Of course, on the other hand you have the risk of secret societies. And as an additional bonus, they remain foreigners with basic resentment and able to join independence factions as de-jure vassals until their heirs are educated correctly.

Also, while I don't know the odds, common sense suggests that the zealot Vihavald would be more likely to found a secret society. In any case, even if the secret society should become prevalent, the Fylkir's official faith at least is safe, as religious heads can't convert. I do recall my monarch's journey with Llewelyn the Great, where I installed a secretly Germanic pope and went public.

The Papacy sadly went to another prelate. He's on heritage focus, so he's likely to adapt the culture and faith of his guardian. If you revoke the old germanic titles, he'll still resent it even if he grows up to be a good reformed faithful though. It shouldn't be too hard, either - there's a filthy Catholic duchy you can revoke and give him. Though of course, that would sadly be against Eilif's character as he bears some kind of grudge against the man.

But they are not prerequisites for demanding revocation - being an infidel is reason enough. So my advice would be to first convert those you want to raising their opinion with gold, titles, building in their demesne and then go on a revoking spree.

Once unity is restored and Eilif is ready for a war, a GHW is the best option. It can be waged once every thirty years, so the sooner you launch the first the sooner the second can follow. And it is for a whole kingdom title instead of just a random county. Now might be a good time to profit from the Catholics' troubles with the Kharijite kings if they still rule and attack them while they are weak.

Or, for an easy target, pick Denmark and show these heretics why they should have joined the reformation. As always, I'll advise to push for the empire. If Poland is too hairy with the vassals and ally for a single county, you can also try the northeastermost provinces you can even go for a great holy war for the entire kingdom, I guess? I'm not experienced in the specifics of this CB.

Who owns those northeastermost Russian Empire provinces? The armies are already nearby. Again let me remind that there's always a risk of the target to just switch religions to get out of a religious war. I don't know what makes an AI ruler more likely to pull that. So, this phase of the story will be told in two shorter parts, more for the limitations placed on screenshots per post than overall written length. Most of the key strategic questions will be summarised at the end of the second post Chapter , which will come out shortly after the first, effectively as a two-part chapter.

Spoiler: Ch Q1. Tver Creation Ch Q1. Tver Creation. I suppose the fact the two loose counties that constituted the whole Jarldom meant the title was created out of thin air? Or might something else have been at play here. Just curious. Last edited: Mar 21, I am also forced to acknowledge that the rumours of her recent derangement are true.

She has not been herself of late. Some are calling her stark raving mad. I prefer to see my brilliant Queen as simply different to the rest and touched perhaps a little too closely by the Gods. Unfortunately, she did not take the news of her replacement as Seeress well.

For my part, I must confess that her eccentric behaviour has cooled my feelings for her further. But that is the extent of it. Please see if any of them can now be ransomed and if not, for women and children and anyone else not deemed to be a threat, let us release them. Virdyan can rot in the oubliette for as long as he is able to last it. I have provided a few brief details here. The heretical Danish control Lejre, and any conversion there is even less likely. How goes his war with Hungary?

We assume basically all of them would currently be somewhere in occupied Hungarian lands, seeking to close out his victory. How do we stand at the moment, by comparison? There are just under men currently manning the Royal Guard, with the numbers increasing again as they march. And of course, we anticipate that an even greater proportion of your old and new loyal vassals would respond to a call to arms, perhaps with just the one exception.

Of course, some of them are distant and could take weeks or months to fully muster. Grimr, what counsel do you have for me? First, some good news. We have found out this very day that High Chief Basbek has left the fold of the Pagan Pact against you. As have a good many others, and a number of the Christians from theirs, as well.

This map shows who remain. And you said first , the good news. All but the Fylkir himself found it most unsettling, but Eilif was used to it by now, and Grimr was nothing if not fanatically loyal to his Fylkir.

We should assume his full strength would be turned against us — very soon after we might attack him. Time and again, he has found a way to win. Whatever his strength is, we should not be complacent should we tackle him, no matter what the odds seem to be. What is there on offer for something larger? This document explains the conditions for each and what might be gained or lost depending on the outcome.

Here are the other three realms we are aware of where the the ultimate ruler is of Tengri faith. And both, so Frirek advises me, have substantial armies and no doubt a range of their own vassals they might call on. But they would not be obliged to join, nor could we be guaranteed of them sending a large host in a timely fashion. I presume the same may apply to the enemy and their calling of co-religionists to support them.

Spoiler: Wiki the Red on Great Holy Wars An edited excerpt follows: If the war is won, rulers of the attacking religion within the kingdom's de jure borders, and all rulers outside the de jure borders but within the de facto borders, are vassalized; all other titles are usurped.

What happens with the seized land depends on the status of the kingdom title. If the relevant kingdom exists and the title holder is of the same religion as the attackers, he receives all seized titles. If there is no same-faith holder, the land will be given to a claimant determined by the strength of the claim and the claimant's participation in the Crusade.

Otherwise, whoever participated the most will gain the kingdom. Participation, as with other wars, is calculated by troops thrown into battle and the capturing of territory. If the victor is vassal to a king or below, they will become independent. If the target was Jerusalem, a Catholic victor might be compelled to give it up to the Knights Templar, which provides a large amount of piety.

If the targeted kingdom does not exist, it is created for free and given to the victor. If the holder of the kingdom is not of the religion of the attackers but is involved in wars besides the crusade, the kingdom title will not be granted, though all vassal titles will.

Once the holder is not at war, it can be usurped. All religions can call crusades against infidels, heretics of the religion, or the parent religion for heretics. Does the war start right away, as soon as I call for it, or is there a delay? Anything else I should know or consider before declaring it? Great Holy War Ch Q1. Great Holy War. And is it just top level rulers, or can Tengri High Chief equivalents who may be vassals to a non-Tengri liege also join in to support Barsbek, for example?

Having to worry about other non-Tengri defensive pact members joining in too would make things just too risky, I think. We should have a few weeks, but cannot tell for sure how long it will be before Barsbek rejoins it. Eilif turned to the rest of them. Lest his brother inherit his titles. He remains a very efficient warrior and never got the chance to command troops in the last war as Marshal. Frirek, advise him he may retire to his home for now and let Vihavald know he is recalled to our service.

He cares not — it is not a matter of money. It is the same for the few others who are not of his chiefdom. It is the just and proper thing to do. Who remains, then? Virdyan, of course, enjoying the pleasures of the oubliette. Best let his luxurious circumstances do it quietly. We could keep the child a while, to see if coin might be paid for him in due course.

The other two are those Christian missionaries you apprehended some years ago, that could be ransomed but are being saved for the next blot. We will turn now to the issue of Gandalfr. And there is an outside chance he might agree without a fight — which he must know he would lose.

He roars, he mightily roars, and he shouts. But people still live there and dragons have never been seen. Well, maybe he'll feel better in the morning. He does, and finds it to be as sweet as honey. How this is supposed to help spread the word of God is anyone's guess. See for the first time. He says, "Woe to the woman that sew pillows Behold, I am against your pillows. God will throw a tantrum, toppling every wall and mountain. And, since God doesn't want just anyone getting hold to this "holiness," the priest has to change clothes.

Taking a cubit to be 18 inches and assuming the depth to also be six cubits, this would give a total volume of cubic yards -- which would have been more than all of the gold that King Nebuchadnezzar possessed, and probably more than all of the gold in all of the kingdoms of the world at that time. Of course, there is no record in secular history that Nebuchadnezzar suffered any such strange sickness.

And is it always "nigh at hand"? And they will "praise the name of the Lord. And he wonders why they don't turn to him? God will set his "eyes upon them for evil, not for good. Even more absurd is that it worked. And Jonah stayed in the fish's belly for three days and three nights. Jonah must be one hell of a preacher! Three days in a fish's belly isn't enough?

Then he prepares a worm to destroy the gourd.

You can post now and register later.
